PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – June 4, 2009 - For the second year in a row, GTECH Mexico is listed as one of the best companies to work for in Mexico according to Expansion Magazine, the most prominent and widely-read Mexican business publication.

In May, Expansion Magazine published a list of “Super Empresas,” which is compiled annually by TOP Companies®. This year, 500 companies throughout Mexico participated in the evaluation, 101 of which were ranked. GTECH Mexico placed 8th on the list of companies with fewer than 500 employees. GTECH Mexico is located in Mexico City and has 100 employees.

There are 14 components to the TOP Companies® evaluation, which was audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers. All facets of the company were looked at including training, communication to employees, promotion opportunities, professional development, recognition programs, benefits, leadership, and how well the management team motivates employees.

GTECH Mexico improved 10 spots to earn this year’s rank. The company’s ability to retain a top spot among Mexico’s premier companies, such as Coca Cola, SAP, Continental Airlines, and Embassy Suites, reflects GTECH’s on-going commitment to its employees and service to customers.
