SPIELO CHOSEN TO PROVIDE END-TO-END VLT SOLUTION TO GAMENET IN ITALY

Company Expects to Receive Initial Revenues in the Range of €40 Million to €45 Million Over the Contract Term, Beginning in 2009

(Rome, ITALY and Moncton, CANADA) – November 12, 2009 – Lottomatica subsidiary SPIELO Manufacturing ULC announced that it will provide a new server-based gaming central system, retailer terminals, several thousand video lottery terminals (VLTs), game content, and services to Gamenet S.p.A. in Italy under a multi-year agreement.

Led from its inception by CEO Ezio Filippone, Gamenet represents more than 700 gaming machine distributors and operators, and is currently the third largest public gaming machines network concessionaire in Italy, based on both turnover and quantity. Gamenet’s network links more than 56,000 slot machines distributed in over 20,000 public venues. Gamenet is expected to retain the same market position in Italy’s new VLT gaming market, which is poised to become the largest VLT market in Europe. Through this agreement with Gamenet, SPIELO now has the opportunity to provide end-to-end solutions to two of the top three gaming machine concessionaires in the country. SPIELO already provides gaming equipment and services to Lottomatica under a separate participation agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gamenet will receive SPIELO’s end-to-end gaming solution, including the INTELLIGEN™ server-based VLT central system, i-LINK™ retailer terminals, and prodiGi Vu™ and WinWave Vu™ VLTs, as well as VLT games and support services. SPIELO expects to receive revenues in the range of €40 million to €45 million from this multi-year agreement. SPIELO expects operations to begin in early 2010.

“We look forward to entering this extremely competitive VLT market, which is about to become the largest of its kind in Europe,” said SPIELO President and CEO Victor Duarte. “Through our partnership, Gamenet will benefit from server-based technology and the Dynamic Game Management features of SPIELO’s INTELLIGEN central system and value-added modules, as well as the i-LINK terminal and value-added prodiGi Vu and WinWave Vu terminals. With the help of our sister company, ATRONIC, we’re also pleased to provide the top-performing games from our combined game library.”

Commenting on the announcement, Gamenet CEO Ezio Filippone said, “Through this VLT investment and agreement with SPIELO, Gamenet will expand its gaming portfolio beyond the current slot machines, betting, poker including Texas Hold’em, and skill games, strengthening its position as a leader in the Italian gaming market.”

In this end-to-end solution, Gamenet’s VLTs will be connected to the INTELLIGEN central system, which centrally determines game outcomes at random and can download new games automatically to the VLTs. SPIELO’s end-to-end solutions are open-standards based and operate using numerous machine protocols, including Game to System® (G2S®).
